Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Region (VISN 6) Central Acquisition Service has a requirement for the rental of one (1) Automated H&E Slide Preparation System and all necessary reagents, supplies and equipment to perform the tests and functions for which the equipment was designed. The contract period will be April 1, 2007 through March 31, 2008, with the option to renew four (4) one year periods. The NAICS code is 532490. The size standard is 6.5M. The procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 15. Solicitation package will be available on or about February 20, 2007.
