Description

Reference is made to Synopsis posted Nov 29, 2006, which stated solicitation was scheduled to be issued approximately January 2, 2007. Date for issuance of solicitation has changed to approximately March 1, 2007. A revised synopsis is as follows: U.S. Army Material Systems Analysis Activity (Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD) has a requirement for Sample Data Collection (SDC). SDC consists of data collection at Garrison and Field Exercises to include National Training Center (NTC), Joint Readiness Tra ining Center (JRTC), and collection in contingency operations; i.e., Iraq, Afghanistan. Work will require Contractor to collect, maintain, and deliver the required data elements of the SDC programs. Data is used in developing Class IX contingency stocks, identifying reliability and maintainability characteristics of equipment over the life cycle, analysis of component life and providing data for estimating for a one year base year with four one-year option periods. Various CONUS and OCONUS sites are incl uded. Solicitation is scheduled to be issued approximately March 1, 2007. Point of contact at Army Contracting Agency, Aberdeen Proving Ground is Cheryl A.
