Description
FISC Norfolk Contracting Department, Philadelphia Division intends to acquire on a competitive basis, Masters-Level Seminar Training Services for its Business Resources Management Program (BRMP) for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Research, Development and Acquisition (RDA)) in Washington, D.C. The BRMP is a residential seminar program involving training in current and cutting-edge business practices. This training would be sufficient to allow attendees to respond to current threats and to anticipate potential changes in the business world, and coordinate and implement anticipatory responses. In short, the proposed BRMP will encapsulate the core competencies of a full MBA curriculum. The program will run 3-5 weeks, and will be held at such a time as to not interfere with military transfers, normally January through February. The contract will involve a base year, with four (4) option years. The successful contractor shall be an AACSB-accredited school, and shall be able to demonstrate an excellent history of providing similar services. The consistency of academic approach and degree of allegiance to the HBR Case study concept, as well as the use of team-building measures will factor into the source selection decision as well. Web-based programs will not be considered for award, as it is the Navy?s intent to provide a dedicated residential program where students cannot be readily recalled to duty. In addition to the foregoing, the successful contractor must meet all other minimum requirements as stated in the solicitation. It is anticipated that services will commence on or about 7 Jan 08. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 611430. This is not a solicitation. Release of the solicitation is anticipated for March.
