Description

SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE FEDTEDS WEBSITE (www.fedteds.gov). This work will consist of Elevator Maintenance for Lower Monumental Lock and Dam, Kahlotus, Washington. The contractor shall maintain elevators, equipment appurtenances and accessories so as to comply with the requirements of the latest editions of the Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators, ASME A17-1; the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Washington Sta te Administrative Codes (WACs) governing inspection and maintenance of elevators. The Elevator Inspectors Manual, ASME A17.2 shall be followed for required inspection and maintenance procedures to ensure safe operation of all elevators covered under this contract. ADMIN INFO: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310. Solicitation is FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. For reporting purposes, the size standard is average annual receipts for the previous three fiscal years must n ot exceed $13,000,000.00. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Contractors can access the CCR for free at http://ww w.ccr.gov. This is not a request for proposals, but notice that our intention is to issue a solicitation for this requirement. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this agency. (NOTE: Issue and response dates are ten tative and will be established when solicitation is issued.)
