Description

The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) on behalf of the Office of the Army Chief of Chaplains intends to award a sole source contract to Rev Dennis Dewey, 107 Ridge Road, Utica, New York 13501, to provide a comprehensive presentation on the subje ct of the art and craft of Biblical and Sacred Scripture storytelling as a medium for facilitating religious education and spiritual formation for Army soldiers and families. The presentation will include demonstrations, intensive skill training, facilita tion of large and small group discussions, program consultation, and conduct of worship events three times daily during the Chief of Chaplains Annual Religious Education Training Conference to be held in Orlando, Florida, during the period 18 - 23 March 20 07. He will be responsible for all training materials, resources, costumes, props, personal travel expenses including transportation, lodging, meals, and registration fees. The period of performance is 18-23 March 2007. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will conside r all capability statements received by 14 Feb 2007, 9:00 AM. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
