Item 0001 NSN 2840-01-147-0463JF P/N: 9980M70G05. F101 engine. Destination: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: 624 DAYS. The actual quantity will be determined at the time of award at this time the Government?s BEQ is 56 ea. Quantity Ranges will be solicited as follows: Quantity Range A: 28 ea to 54 ea; Quantity Range B: 55 ea to 84 ea. First Article Government & Contractor Testing will be required. First Article Criteria and delivery instructions will be specified in the solicitation. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements and is cited in each individual solicitation. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and are set forth in the OC-ALC Source Approval Information Booklet. The approximate issue date for the solicitation will be 21 Feb 07. The approximate response date will be 23 Mar 07. The anticipate award date is 31 May 07. The solicitation/procurement data is approved for release only to U.S. DOD contractors who are registered and certified with the Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS). Submission of DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement, with your request for the solicitation is required as specified in the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), 22 CFR Sections 121 through 128. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed request received directly from the requester is acceptable. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which if timely shall be considered. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
