- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure on a sole-source basis services required to support TOW Missile Phase II Container Testing from National Technical System, 24007 Ventura Blvd, Calabasas, California, 91302-1458. National Technical System has the experience and knowledge under the previous test series that is a prerequisite to Phase II Test Series. The North American Industry Classification System code is 541380, with a standard size of 10 Million dollars. The order shall be a firm fixed price purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The period of performance is 1 July 2007 to 1 August 2007. This announcement constitutes the only request for quotes. The Synopsis number is N00178-07-Q-1024. Any questions should be directed to XDS118 DLGR_NSWC_XDS11@navy.mil at (540) 653-7478. This procurement is DO priority rated. Quote is due 14 February 2007 no later than 2:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Building 183, First Floor, Room 102, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100 and anticipated award by 16 February 2007. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition arena; therefore, this synopsis/solicitation with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at: http://www.nswc.navy.mil/wwwDL/XD/SUPPY. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD web site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Quoters may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment office may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractor?s EFT information contained in the CCR database.
