- Air Force Research Laboratory, Materials & Manufacturing Directorate, Manufacturing Division (AFRL/MLM ) solicits research proposals for 30 percent Efficiency Multi-Junction Space Solar Cells. AFRL/MLM is seeking to improve the manufacturing proessing capabilities of producing 30 percent efficiency multi-junction space solar cells. Interested parties should have documented expertise in the production, qualification and sale of space solar cells. Only approaches that will yield space solar cells that operate acording to AAIA standard S-111-2005 will be considered. Additionally, interested parties shall describe what test facilities and test facility location will be used for the qualification and characterization of all AAIA standard S 111-2005 tests.
