- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbos.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. You may also access information on the NSWC Crane Division web site at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm The Naval Surface Warfare Center , Crane Division requires a maximum of 30 depot level repair/overhaul for ROM coolers. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source (under the authority of FAR 6.302-1), Carleton Life Support Systems, 2734 Hickory Grove Road, Davenport, IA, 52808, and to award a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. Delivery shall be FOB Destination NSWC-Crane 90 days from award date of contract, or sooner. Early deliveries are acceptable and desirable. Final Inspection and acceptance will be at destination by NSWC Crane personnel, with initial inspection at Source. DPAS rating is DO-A70. Numbered Note 22 applies as follows: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit propo sals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
