Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 532412, size standard is $6.5 Million employees. This requirement is for leasing eight (8); 10,000lb, rough terrain, articulated frame steed fork trucks. Fork trucks should have specification equal to those of a Dresser Industries Model M10A, MHE 236 (NSN 3930-01-054-3833). Specification on the M10A can be provided via fax by sending an e-mail to erik.symanski@us.army.mil . Fork trucks need to be delivered on or around 16 Feb 2007. The Period of Performance will be from Delivery Date through 31 Oct 2007. RFPs should be quoted in accordance with the follo wing: CLIN 0001; Fork Truck Lease plus maintenance service (POP Delivery date  31 Oct 2007), CLIN0002; Operator Training  train 8 operators on equipment use and general preventative maintenance. CLIN0003; Delivery and Pickup (if priced separately). Proposals must include the following information: Make and Model of fork trucks to include specifications, maintenance covered during lease period, delivery date, payment method (DFAS or GPC), TAX ID, cage code and DUNS number. Any further information can be requested by email to erik.symanski@us.army.mi. Offer due date/time is: 8 Feb 2007 at 1500 MST. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Award shall be made only to contractors who are registered with the Central Contractor Registration at: www.ccr.gov The following provisions in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) apply to this acquisition to include any addenda to the provision. This solicitation incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in ful l text. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, the following factor shall be used to evaluate offers: Best overall value to the government with make and model, delivery date and price being key factors but said factors not being the overall determining factor in award. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price an d other factors considered.
