Description

USCG, MLCP (vpl-1) in Oakland, CA, proposes to contract for the dockside repair of USCGC ALERT (WMEC 630). The vessel is a 210' medium endurance cutter, home moorage in Astoria, OR. The period of performance is 06 Mar 2007 through 20 Mar 2007, 15 calendar days of availability. Work to consist of, but not limited to, providing all labor and materials necessary to repair the crescent davit, single point davit, and starboard anchor windlass. All work will be accomplished at Port of Astoria's pier 1. Please contact Rita Fahrney at (503)325-4521 to secure pier for performance period. On or about 15 February 2007, an RFQ (Request For Quotes) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizops.gov. Only certified 100% small business contractors may submit an offer. The solicitation, specifications, and other pertinent information will be posted at www.fbo.gov. In order to open and download the specifications, offerors must be registered at www.FedTeds.gov. Offerors are encouraged to register immediately as authorization to accesc the documents may take up to 48 hours from the time of registration. Drawings may be requested through FedTeds.
