Description

Solicitation 8007-13 seeks helicopter flight services for one helicopter. Services are for fully Contractor operated and maintained aircraft services (AS350B2, AS350B3, BH206LIV with high altitude tail rotor system, or BH 407 type aircraft are expected to fulfill the solicitation requirements) to support the National Park Service, Mesa Verde National Park in their fire management mission programs. The helicopter will be based at the Fort Lewis Helibase in Hesperus, Colorado with a use period of 120 days, May 16 through September 12. The requirement includes a government unilateral option to extend the services (renew) for an additional four years. The Contractor must possess a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 135, 133, and 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is January 31, 2007. It is a requirement that any successful awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award being made.
