Description

DESC: NSN 5340-01-522-0765, Part Number 13001494. The item to procure is a Plunger, Detent. Item is close tolerance machined part from Steel 4340 or 4130 per ASTM A108, Heat Treat to Hardness RC 32-38, and Phosphate Fininsh applied. This will be a 100% HUBZone Set-Aside. Only qualified HUBZone Small Business concerns will be considered for award. Solicitation will result in a Five (5) Year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. Guaranteed Minimum Requirements are 500 each, with a potential Maximum Contract Quantity of 40,000 each. FOB is Destination. For use on the M240H Machine Gun. Estimated issue date is 20 February 2007. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, ha rdcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto.
