- Description
- The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District, is seeking firms for mowing and trimming, and vegetation control, at Clarence Cannon Dam and Mark Twain Lake, Monroe City, MO. The work includes furnishing labor, materials, vehicles, equipment, tools, supervision, and transportation to perform mowing and trimming, vegetation control, turf maintenance and renovation services at Clarence Cannon Dam and Mark Twain Lake. This acquisition will be issued in accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 12 Commercia l Items. There will be no public bid opening. This is an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract with a performance period of a base year with four (4) option years. The basis for award will be Best Value. The Government intends to award a con tract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation requirements and will provide the best value to the government considering recent and relevant past/present performance and price. The government re serves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. IAW FAR 19.10 Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program this solicitation is unrestricted. IAW FAR 19. 1307, the price evaluation adjustment would apply to any HUBZone that responded to this competitive solicitation. Electronic copies are not permitted. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about February 28, 2006. For changes to the issue date or any other changes to the information in this synopsis, potential offerors are responsible to check the information at http://www.fedbizopps.gov./. The s olicitation package will be posted on FedBizOpps, which can be accessed at http://www.fedbizopps.gov./ The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. The Interested Vendors List (IVL) will be activated and may be accessed and printed from the FedBizOpps w eb site.
