Description

On behalf of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, J-3 and in accordance with FAR 6.3 the Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) proposes to procure contracted services to provide specific training for recently purchased Motorola communications equipment for th e period of 15 February 2007 through 15 June 2007 for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. It is the Government's intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with Motorola Inc, 7031 Columbia Gateway Drive, Columbia, MD 21046 to procure contracted services to provide specific training for recently purchased Motorola communications equipment in support of the J-3 Directorate for Antiterrorism/Homeland Defense (DDAT/HD), Antiterrorism/J oint Directorate of Military Support (JDOMS) Division. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals no later than 11:30AM EST 06 February 2007. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of d etermining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The point of contact for this action is Peggy Y.
