- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number AG-5540-S-0001. is issued as a Request for Quotes. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text format at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This solicitation is 100% Set Aside for Small Business. The contract type will be firm fixed price. The associated NAICS code is 561720 and the small business size is $ 15 million. The following Department of Labor Wage Determination applies to this procurement: 2005-2421. The full text of the wage determination is included as an attachment. The United States Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency (FSA) announces a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Janitorial Services in the: Auglaize County FSA Office, 110 Industrial Dr., Suite E, Wapakoneta, OH 45895. The leased property is 3,055 square feet with restroom space not included in that total square footage. Contiguous Counties, Hardin and Van Wert, will require janitorial services, as well, they are being solicited under separate cover: AG-5540-S-0002 and AG-5540-S-0003, respectively. The Government will contemplate the award of multiple contracts to the same contractor, if it is in the best interests of the Government. When submitting a response, indicate the counties in which you have an interest. The Government anticipates the award of one or multiple Firm Fixed Price type of contracts resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation. Responses should include the experience/qualifications of the contractor, personnel, equipment and services to perform the type of tasks described by this notice. High St. Rm. 540, Columbus, OH 43215-2495 STATEMENT OF WORK Janitorial Services: Cleaning is to be performed after tenant working hours unless daytime cleaning is specified otherwise. The service provider shall maintain the office space in a clean condition and shall provide all cleaning supplies and equipment. The service provider shall also provide toilet paper and paper hand towels for all restroom facilities. The following schedule describes the level of services intended. Performance will be based on the government?s evaluation of results, not the frequency or method of performance. A. Weekly: Empty trash receptacles. Completely vacuum all carpet areas. Clean drinking fountains. Sweep, damp mop and spray buff all resilient floors in vending areas, break rooms, restrooms, and common areas; such as main corridors, entrances, and lobbies. Sweep or vacuum stairs, if applicable. Sweep and damp mop or scrub all restrooms. Clean all toilet fixtures and replenish toilet supplies. Dispose of all trash and garbage generated in or about the building. Wash inside and out or steam clean cans used for collection of food remnants from snack bars and vending machines. Dust horizontal surfaces that are readily available and visibly require dusting. Clean elevators, if applicable. Remove carpet stains. B. Every two weeks: Spray buff resilient floors in secondary corridors, entrances, and lobbies. Damp mop and spray buff hard and resilient floors in office space. C. Monthly: Thoroughly dust furniture. Sweep storage space. Spot clean all wall surfaces within 70? (178 cm) of the floor. D. Every two months: Damp wipe toilet wastepaper receptacles, stall partitions, doors, window sills, and frames. Clean entrance and elevator carpets. E. Every four months: Dust wall surfaces within 70? (178 cm) of the floor, vertical surfaces and undersurfaces. Clean metal and tile surfaces in lobbies. Services listed below require 7-day written advance notice to the government: F. Every six months: Wash all interior and exterior windows and other glass surfaces. Strip and apply four coats of finish to resilient floors in toilets. Strip and refinish or spot clean carpet in main corridors and other heavy traffic areas. Dust all vertical and horizontal blinds. G. Annually: Wash all vertical and horizontal blinds. Vacuum or dust all surfaces in the building within 70? (178 cm) of the floor, including light fixtures. Vacuum all drapes in place. Strip and refinish floors in offices and secondary lobbies and corridors. Clean carpets in corridors and lobbies. Clean interior courts and areaways. H. Every two years: Clean carpets in all offices and other nonpublic areas. I. Every five years: Dry clean or wash (as appropriate) all drapes.
