- The Bureau of Engraving is seeking vendors to provide thirty-six thousand pounds (36000 lbs) of PIGMENT, MAGNETIC BLACK IRON OXIDE (50 LB BAG) to be in accordance with BEP specifications PG BIO-1E, dated May 3, 2000. For Specifications, please fax or email your request to Loni George. No phone request will be accepted?No substitutes will be accepted. All qualified vendors may submit an offer which will be considered. The vendor is to provide certificate of analysis or certificate of conformance and results of inspection for each batch or lot in shipment. fax & mail original certification to BEP contact person: Ron Milne 817-847-3877, fax 817-847-3754, BEP room P-142,hich will be considered. A sample must be submitted to The Bureau of Engraving and Printing, 14th & C Sts, SW, Washington, D.C. 20228, by C.O.B February 5, 2007. to the Attention of : Ike Gallagher, Ink Development . Proposals must be sent to the Fort Worth Facility, Attention: Loni George. All responses must reference RFQ-07-2642. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation. A written Request for Quotation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. Place of delivery is Bureau of Engraving and Printing, 9000 Blue Mound Rd., Fort Worth, TX 76137. Delivery and acceptance is FOB Destination. The provision of 52.212-1, Instruction to Offers - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies to this procurement. Offers must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition: 52.222-19, 21, 26, 35, 36, 37, 52.225-1, 52.232-33, 52.219-6. All sources must submit a quote with required Offeror Representations and Certifications by 2:00 pm CST, Monday, February 5, 2007. Quotes received after that time may not be considered. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR 12 and 13 shall be used.
