Description: The U.S Army Field Support Command will be issuing a solicitation for the Product Improvement effort on the 30mm PGU-13 High Explosive Incendiary (HEI) design to provide a ballistic match to the 30mm PGU-14 Armor Piercing Incendiary (API) cartridge. This requirement is restricted to General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, Marion, IL and Alliant Techsystems, Mesa, AZ and is synopsized for subcontracting purposes only. Contractors interested in subcontracting are to contact General Dynamics Ordn ance and Tactical Systems and Alliant Techsystems directly. The approximate issue date of the solicitation is 9 February 07.
