- Description
- The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential HUBZone businesses. Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan anticipates the solicitation and award of a contract for Air Field Operations. The Base Operations function provides the following services to support the Selfridge ANG Base Airfield, but are not limited to: Base Operations, Airfield Facilities Management, Airfield Maintenance, Airfield Use/Access Control, Flight Line Driving Passes, Flight Planning publications and NOTAMS, Flight Services, Transient Aircrew Support, Emergency Response and Administration. Contractors must be fully qualified in all aspects of the requirement to be considered. Source selection procedures will be utilized to determine awardee. All interested HUBZone business concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 15 Feb 07. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages must include 1) a positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor ; 2) Identification of firm with appropriate HUBZone status. Status of HUBZone contractors will be verified via Central Contract Registration (CCR) Dynamic Small business search; 3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontr actor provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor; and 4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate HUBZone contractors are not available for ade quate competition for this project it will be advertised as a small business set aside. No facsimile responses will be accepted. Any costs incurred as a result of this announcement shall be borne by the offeror and will not be charged to the Government for reimbursement.
