Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD requires the purchase of 2 Chemical Warfare Air Filter Units for use by the Chemical Applications Division of APG, as follows: CLIN 0001, 1 each 800 CFM Air Filtration unit, left-handed. Units for both 800 and 1200 CFM units shall not exceed 20 feet long, 48 inches in height, 60 inches in width. CLIN 0002, 1 each 1200 CFM Air Filtration Unit, right-handed. Specifications are available from the US Army Contracting Agency upon request. Strict compliance with the specifications is required. The Negative Air Filter (NAF) vendor shall list all exceptions and deviations. The Engineer shall approve all listed exceptions and deviations before th e offered NAF is deemed compliant. The intent of this specification is to integrate all of the components into a single system and to have successful system operation the responsibility of a single vendor. CCR approved vendors must specify an estimated t ime-line to provide drawings of the proposed units. Delivery, if approved drawings, shall be determined by coordination of end user and vendor. This is set aside for small businesses.
