- Description
- The South Texas Veterans Health Care System intens to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for emergency outpatient pharmacy services in support of Community Based-Out Clinic (CBOC) patients. Services will be required in the following areas but not limited to San Antonio, Kerrville, Laredo, Harlingen, McAllen, Corpus Christi, Victoria, Eagle Pass, Del Rio, and surrounding areas.for The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one small business concern that is owned and controlled by one or more service-disabled veterans under the authority of section 308 of Public Law 108-183. Interested persons who are service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. List of references to whom similar types of services have been previously provided to include contract number, dollar value, name and phone number of customer The references must be relevant to the requirement and be within the last three year as of January 1, 2007.? The references must also include a description of the services rendered under that contract and demonstrate ability to provide services to service area. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received with 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the VA. A determination by VA not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the VA. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement amount small business concerns owned and controlled by one or more service-disable veterans THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT COMMITTED TO AWARD A CONTRACT PURSUANT TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.???NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME AND REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATION PACKAGES WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.?Notice of Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns, (a) The proposed contract is 100% set aside for award to service-disable veteran-owned small business concerns. Offers or quotations from other than service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns will be considered and shall be rejected. (b) Definitions, As used in this provision: "Service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern"-- (1) Means a small business concern-- (i) Not less than 51 percent of which is owned by one or more service-disabled veterans or, in the case of any publicly owned business, not less than 51 percent of the stock of which is owned by one or more service-disabled veterans; and (ii) The management and daily business operations of which are controlled by one or more service-disabled veterans or, in the case of a service-disabled veteran with permanent and severe disability, the spouse or permanent caregiver of such veteran. (2) "Service-disabled veteran" means a veteran, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(2), with a disability that is service-connected, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(16). The applicable NAICS code is 446110 and the Size Standard is $6.5M.? All information submitted in response to this announcement must be received on or before the closing date.?The closing date for responses is COB, January February 12, 2007.
