- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), William J. Hughes Technical Center, Located at the Atlantic City International Airport, Atlantic City, New Jersey, is conducting a market survey to find any/all Small Business contractors with experience in second-level engineering maintenance for multiple National AirSpace (NAS) systems. The FAA intends to award up to a seven (7) year contract for restoration assistance, development, testing, and production of engineering solutions in response to NAS problem reports and approved case files, configuration and documentation maintenance, release and control, and assurance of supportability of new systems before they become deployed into the NAS. The following potential contract particulars apply: NAICS Code: 541519 Size Standard: 23M Contract Duration: Potential for up to seven (7) years Description of Potential Effort: The FAA, Technical Operations Directorate, ATO-TO (AJW-110), is responsible for providing engineering, support, maintenance, and software/hardware updates/fixes/patches for the FAA EnRoute, Terminal, Weather Processing, Communications and Flight Service, and NAS maintenance systems that are located at field activities, FAA Academy, FAA Logistic Center and FAA Technical Center. Other technical support functions may also be included. The FAA Technical Operations is currently interested in procuring contract support in the form of experienced software, and hardware specialists, and engineers for maintenance and support of NAS systems. Any Small Business that meets the size standard for NAICS code 541519 may submit a capabilities statement of no more than three (3) pages. The three (3) page submission shall include a brief description of your company's knowledge and technical expertise relative to the FAA requirement. Any submissions must also explicitly state whether or not the contractor has been audited by DCAA and whether or not the contractor has a DCAA approved Cost Accounting System.
