Description

The U.S. Dept. of the Interior's National Business Center - Southwest Branch intends to procure IT (Business Systems Architect) support services required to assist the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Office of the Comptroller (COMP). More specifically, nonpersonal services are required focusing on providing expert technical advice and assistance to business applications maintenance, support and development teams. The support contractor shall work to design and suggest improvements to the business application architecture and the applications themselves. The contractor shall be involved with development and improvement of the business application interfaces, business applications infrastructure and may implement changes to business applications and to the associated databases as needed. The requirement for these services will be for a period estimated from April 27, 2007 to April 26, 2008 with four 12-month optional periods. A solicitation will be issued and posted to the following U.S. Department of the Interior link: http://www.nbc.gov/forth.html , on or shortly after the fifteenth day following the date of this presolicitation notice. A copy of the solicitation will also be attached to this presolicitation notice for access through FedBizOpps. This negotiated procurement will be issued on an unrestricted basis under full and open competition.
