Description: The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity proposes to award to Chemical Computing Group, Inc., 1010 Rue Sherbrooke O Bureau 910, Montreal, QC H3A 2R7, on a sole source basis, for the purchase an annual software license for Molecular Operating Environment (MOE) to include upgrades and technical support. To select another design/manufacturer would require patent disclosure and agreement, design and fabrication capability review, training of technical support and revalidation. This would result in months of delay on several projects and increase costs to the Government. This procurement shall be under other and full and open competition procedures in accordance with FAR 6.301-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will s atisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quote. If no written responses are received at least fifteen (15) days after the publication of this response, the purchase will be awarded without further notice.
