- North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 332999. This procurement action is for the purchase of Flare Cases, in accordance with drawing number 3928AS102, in support of the MJU57 AB Decoy Flare Program. Material: Alum alloy impact , ASTM B221 6061-F hard coat anodize inside and end surfaces of case. Anodizing shall be IAW MIL-A-8625, Type III Class 1, .002 thickness. Hard coat adodizing is acceptable on exterior for .25 +/- .25 dimension shown. Dimensions apply after anodizing. Dimensions checked with functional gages as noted. Outside dimension 1.430 maximum for dimension shown. Machining option .090 X .010 deep undercut. Anodized cases shall be free of foreign materials and residue. Quantity is 22,500 each. FOB Destination, Crane Army Ammunition Activity, Crane, IN. Delivery of Flare Cases shall be: First Article due 60 days after date of contract award and the production quantity due 70 days after First Article approval. If First Article is waived, the production quantity is due 80 days after date of contract award. This will be a firm fixed price contract. Electronic bid submission will ONLY be accepted in response to this solicitation IF and ONLY IF the completed solicitation is included as an attachment in its ENTIRET Y. Otherwise, all proposals must be faxed or mailed in by the specified date and time. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DoD MUST be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). You may register via the Internet at http://www.ccr .gov or contact CCR at 1-888-227-2423. APPROXIMATE issue date is 12 February 2007 with the opening date 30 days from issue. The solicitation shall be issued via the Internet at http://www.osc.army.mil/ac/aais/ioc and https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi and http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any changes to the solicitation shall also be posted to these websites. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check these sites daily for any posted changes.
