- NSN 9150-00-753-4937 Lubricating Oil, Aircraft Piston Engine. Unit of issue is DR. Purchased IAW SAE J1899. Solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for a base year plus 2 option years. Economic Price Adjustment is applicable and the ceiling is 150% of the original base unit price in any applicable contract year. FOB Destination with Inspection/Acceptance at Destination for all NSNs. Due to one of the End Applications being the Catapult/Arresting Gear, ALRE Clauses are applicable as well as a Formal Pre-Award Survery. Type II 36 Month Shelf-Life is applicable for all lines. QAP 196 applicable. This NSN is a Commercial Item, is a Critical Application Item, and is not a Critical Safety Item as of 01/16/2007. The solicitation is for a Partial Small Business Set Aside (50%). Pricing will be evaluated on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD). The EAD quantity for the Unrestricted Portion of the solicitation is 702 DR for the base and each option year. The same is applicable for the 50% Small Business Set-Aside Portion. The Guaranteed Minimum quantity is applicable for the base year only. The Guaranteed Minimum for the Unrestricted Portion is 160 DR. The same is applicable for the 50% Small Business Set-Aside Portion. The Maximum Annual Quantity for the Unrestricted Portion of the solicitation is 1404 DR for the base and each option year. The same is applicable for the 50% Small Business Set-Aside Portion. Surge and Sustainment is applicable each year for both the Unrestricted and the 50% Small Business Set-Aside Portions. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
