Description
NAICS Code: 721110 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) and Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) intends to award sole source fixed price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Hilton Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia on March 18, 2007 - March 21, 200 under the authority of (FAR) Part 6.302-1. The purpose of this procurement is to acquire 144 hotel rooms for a period of 3 days. On day one of the conference, three conference rooms would be set-up conference room style with afternoon breaks, registration table with 2 chairs and a wastebasket. On the second day of the conference 1 Grand Ballroom with the room set up hollow-square and theater sitting for audience, registration table with 2 chairs & wastebasket outside Grand Ballroom, morning and afternoon break. Audio visual is also needed on the first day of the conference. The audio visual equipments are : flipcharts, flipchart easels, flipchart pad, flipchart markers, Pzm/Surface mount microphone, cd interactive-CD-R recorder (XR), 12 channel powered mixer, headphones, CD-R Disks and Audio Tech. Please include an audio visual equipment price list as well as pricing for the conference rooms as well as light refreshments such as tea, coffee, bottled water pastry and cookies, these items would meet the specifications and requirements for our upcoming conference. Include information regarding how close the hotel is to major airport, as well as associated costs. What are the costs for parking at the hotel? How many spaces are available? List what activities, sights, restaurants are the hotel or within walking distance or a short cab ride. Although downtown hotels are preferred, hotels that are within walking distance or a short cab ride from restaurants activities will be considered. List the availability of a hotel business center with computer/email/faxing/copying access during business hours. The NAICS code for this procurement is 721110. We believe that the Hilton Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia is the only facility who can accommodate our needs at this time. Therefore, it has been determined that Hilton Atlanta located in Atlanta, Georgia are the only viable source to meet the Government's requirements. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Not withstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 7 calendar days of the date of this announcement will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed Purchase order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
