UNCLASSIFIED ANNOUNCEMENT Requisition No. W74H1M63460001 Notice of Intent to Award The Contracting Center of Excellence, on behalf of the U.S. Army Chief of Chaplains intends to negotiate a sole source award with Rev. Peter M. Gotta, New Life Designs, Topeka, Ks, to develop a Pastoral Education training program and train qualified Army C haplains to become supervisors in Pastoral Education. Contract consists of three requirements: (1) Provide Consultation on Pastoral Education Chapter Development; (2) Development of Standardization Supervisor Training Curriculum and (3) Supervising Chapl ain Supervisory Candidates in the execution of two modules of Pastoral Education. Rev Gotta has long-term experience in military pastoral care and clinical pastoral education. He is considered a leader in the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychothe rapy, one of only three national certifying bodies in pastoral education. The performance period will be 12 months. This announcement is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This notice is not a request for quotes. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by 10:00 a.m. 19 Jan 2007.
