Description
Synopsis W15P7T-07-R-C004 The United States Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703, intends to procure hardware for the Communications and Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC), Logistics and Readiness Center (LRC), Command and Command and Control Systems/Avionics (CCS/Avionics) Directorate for the acquisition of the C-10998C/A Mode Selector, Horizontal Situation Indicators (HSIs)/Vertical Situation Indicators (VSIs). The anticipated effort is intended to be sole source to Honeywell, 699 U.S. Highway 46, Teterboro, New Jersey 07608-1173. Mode Selector, HSI/VSI is a component of the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, and provides switching and display of navigation information. It selects navigation information for display on the pilots respective HSI and VSI. The pilots mode select panel also provides the Command Instrument Set (CIS) with selected navigation information for display on the pilots VSI. The VSI displays pitch and roll, attitude, turn rate, slip an d skid, and CIS steering commands. The HSI displays heading, bearing, and course deviation information, and provides selected course and heading information to the CIS. The NAICS code for this procurement is 334511 with the corresponding small business size standard of 750 employees. The proposed action is to increase the ordering ceiling of the current contract, W15P7T-05-D-C021, from 1800 to 3000 units. Items shall be shipped FOB Destination to New Cumberland Army Depot, New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. The solicitation number assigned to this effort is W15P7T-07-R-C004 and will be issued on or about 26 January 2007. The estimated award date of this procurement is 31 March 2007.
