- --This was originally supposed to be posted as a presolicitation notice, not a solicitation/synopsis.-- PART: U.S. GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENTS SUBPART: SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT & MATERIAL OFFADD: AFFTC/PKT Directorate of Contracting, 5 South Wolfe Avenue, Edwards AFB, CA 93534 SUBJECT: Laboratory Equipment & Supplies REF NO.: F1SBAA6299B003 Opening Date: 8 January 2007 End Date: 25 January 2007 POC: Brian Wu, (PHONE) (661) 277-9566 (Fax) 661-277-2114 DESC: The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to award a sole source purchase order to Vision Research 100 Dey Road Wayne New Jersey 07470. Using the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304 c (1), pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The FSC Code is 6720 and the NAICS Code is 334119 which has a standard business size of 1000 employees. The following item will be procured: Requirements for High Speed Digital Camera System 1. System must operate at 1000 fps 2. Must record for 2 minutes at 1000 fps 3. Must operate at resolutions as high as 1632 x 1200 4. System should have an Auto-Exposure mode 5. System should be able to be able to compensate for hot spots or flaring so that the bright parts don not show as white while the rest of the picture is normal 6. The system should be able to adjust frame size by a height of 48 pixels and a width of 8 pixels to save on file size while keeping resolution high 7. Must have a 2 microsecond shutter 8. Systems must be able to stream data to external memory at least 1000 fps while recording to internal memory at a higher speed when a failure occurs. Internal memory writing would start with an externally supplied trigger 9. Must support modulated or unmodulated IRIG-B timing. 10. Must be able to change frame rates during recording 11. Must be able to segment memory. Each segment should be set up separately and pre-trigger frames selected for each. 12. System should have realtime video output 13. System should have an Gigabit Ethernet input and be able to have an IP address assigned. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government?s requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e. Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Any source that can provide an item meeting the performance characteristics of the stated model may submit a response to this notice.
