Description
The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 5 NSNs with various item descriptions and end items. An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with 4 option years is anticipated. The total duration base plus option years shall not exceed 5 years. This is a small business set-aside. Small business size standard is 500 for NAICS 336311. The solicitation will be available on or about January 26, 2007 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/. The Procurement Item Descriptions (PIDs) are no longer available on the Internet but are included as part of the solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation are not available. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB Destination is required, delivery to be made to locations specified in the solicitation. Inspection/Acceptance requirements will be noted on RFP. All responsible sources may submit a proposal on any/all NSNs, which shall be considered. It is the responsibility of the offeror to obtain the additional data that is necessary to manufacture the item and provide this evidence to the Government. JCP certification required for some NSNs. See notes 1, 9, 23 and 26. It is the responsibility of the offeror to ensure compliance for those items with QPL requirements or component QPLs with associated specifications. Instructions for obtaining drawings are explained in the solicitation. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
