Description

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for software maintenance, documentation, and enhancements for the Isite Z39.50 geographic metadata indexer and server package and the companion Geospatial Metadata Profile (GEO) support required for continued operation of the National Geospatial Data Clearinghouse (NGDC). Request for Proposal 07HQSS0010 will be posted on electronic commerce on or about January 23, 2007. The solicitation, all related documents and amendments, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the NBC posting system at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The anticipated contract type is labor hour with a base year and four option years. Firms who believe they can provide these services, who hold a software license, and can provide Isite software package enhancements and version control management for this software suite are invited to submit a proposal.
