- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT General Information: Document Type: Pre-solicitation Notice Solicitation Number: Reference-Number F1Y2BC6342A100 Posted Date: January 04, 2007 Response Date: January 14,2007 Naics Code: 334519, Other Measuring & Controlling Device Mfg. Contracting Office Address: Department of the Air Force, Air Force Space Command, 90 CONS, 7505 Marne Loop, F.E. Warren AFB, WY 82005-2860 Description: Notice of intent to award a sole source procurement under FAR Part 12.203 to Cannon Load Banks Inc., to provide two (2) Cannon Load Bank Model L-69-80. It is used for 480VAC and 208 VAC three phase 60HZ generators and inverters. It is designed to provide a temporary load for field servicing and testing in accordance with the Technical Orders for 90 MXG, FE Warren AFB, WY. This product has been identified as a follow-on purchase to existing equipment and is considered highly specialized equipment. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(ii)(A), the Government will negotiate directly with Cannon Load Banks Inc., for the Cannon Load Bank Model L-69-80. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for information only. It is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation for offers. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing with a size standard of 500.
