Description

Princeton University Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), Princeton, NJ, a U.S. Department of Energy Prime Contractor is seeking fixed-price proposals from qualified Small Businesses, that are a Crane Manufacturers Association of America, Inc. (CMAA) member, to upgrade by 30 July 2007 an existing overhead Whiting 30/5 ton crane, serial number 8285 located at PPPLs C-Site, James Forrestal Campus, Princeton, NJ to have a 45 ton capacity. PPPL Request for Proposals (RFP) 07-017F for NCSX CS 30 Ton Crane Upgrade will be posted to http://www.pppl.gov website under Doing Business with PPPL by Wednesday 3 January 2007. Attached to RFP Statement of Work is Whiting Corporation engineering analysis of the existing 30 ton crane to upgrade it to a 45 ton capacity. Offerors may adopt the Whiting upgrade or provide their own upgrade proposal.A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at PPPL at 10:00 AM Thursday 11 January 2007. Having visited work site is a prerequisite to submitting a Proposal. Proposals will be due to the PPPL RFP 07-017F Coordinator, Larry Sutton by 2:00 PM (EST) Tuesday 30 January 2007.
