- Description
- The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) is soliciting proposals for a Job Order Contract (JOC) for repairs, renovations, and alterations to facilities and utilities belonging to the AOC. This procurement will result in the award of one Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The contractor shall implement contract management systems involved in supporting, monitoring, and controlling project operations. The contractor shall implement necessary work control procedures to ensure quality and timely work completion and tracking of work progress. The contractor shall plan and schedule work to assure material, labor, and equipment are available to complete work within the specified time limits and in conformance with the quality and safety and health standards required. The contractor shall provide adequate on-site supervision of all subcontractor employees at all time for active work sites. The contractor shall employ industry approved Best Management Practices performance standards and methods, personnel and materials to obtain the highest practical efficiency as a balance of quality reliability, responsiveness, safety and cost effectiveness. The contractor shall at a minimum perform work in conformance with codified industry standards. The basic contract period is for 12 months. The contract will contain 4 twelve month option periods. The minimum contract amount is $50,000.00. The maximum contract amount including all option periods is $25 million. The task order minimum is $2,500.00. The task order maximum is $2,000,000.00. The contract work will primarily be in Washington DC, however, this proposed JOC will also cover some AOC facilities in Maryland and Virginia. The solicitation will be available electronically on or by July 27, 2006. This solicitation will be available electronically at http://www.aoc.gov/business/procure-opps.cfm on the date of issuance. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO DOWNLOAD THE ELECTRONIC VERSION, AS THIS WILL EXPEDITE RECEIPT OF THE SOLICITATION. The date for receipt of proposals will be on/or about August 31, 2006.
