Description

The Military Sealift Fleet Suppoprt Command (MSFSC), Department of the Navy, intends to award a sole-source, FFP contract to STG, Inc. of Reston, VA to provide operational support to the civilian mariners payroll system for MSFSC. The period of performance is intended to be for a base period from February 1, 2007 through September 30, 2007 with one (1) option period from October 1, 2007 to Janaury 15, 2007 to provide training to the successful offeror under the follow-on contract commencing October 1, 2007 (to be exercised if STG, Inc. is not the successful offeror under the reprocurement). Specifically, the contractor shall provide the services of two (2)computer operators and one (1) lead computer operator, along with two optional computer operator FTEs during surge periods to support the civilian mariners payroll system, allowing MSFSC to meet its bi-weekly payroll deadlines. The Government anticipates release of a solicitation (full and open competition) o/a February 1, 2007 to provide the aforementioned services commencing October 1, 2007. Under the follow-on procurement the Government contemplates a contract award for a base period of one-year with four one-year optional periods.
