Description

This proposed contract will be for three types of dispersive delay lines Class I, Short Range, Army P/N MIS 21038-001, NSN 7025-01-092-0835, Class II, Medium Range, Army P/N MIS 21038-002, NSN 7025-01-092-0835, and Class III, Long Range, Army P/N MIS 21038-003, NSN 7025-01-092-0836. These assets are for the Patriot Missile System. This will be a requirements contract for the purchase of approximately thirty of each type of delay line for a base year with four option years. The acquisition covers a pot ential of 150 of each type or 750 delay lines in total over the five-year period. The period of performance will begin O/A 12 Feb 2007 through 11 Feb 2008 followed by sequential option years. Delivery orders will be issued on a firm fixed price basis. Deli very will be 210 days after issuance of the delivery orders. Destination will be Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg PA 17201. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solic itation. The Government does not possess sufficient documentation to acquire these items from other than the qualified sources. The current sources are Micro Networks/Creative Electric Inc, 23 North Division Street, Auburn, NY 13021 and Phonon, 90 Wolcott Rd, Simsbury, CT 06070. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements is not available and cannot be provided. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency.
