Description

N/A Sole Source. The United States Army Yuma Proving Grounds (USAYPG), Yuma, AZ, intends to negotiate a fixed price contract for cafeteria services of transient military personnel on a sole source basis with the Directorate of Morale, Welfare and Rec reation (MWR) Cactus Caf?, located at USAYPG, Bldg 451 Flame Avenue, Yuma, AZ 85365. The period of performance will be from 8 January 2007 through 23 February 2007. USAYPG is in a remote area, located approximately twenty-six (26) miles from the city of Yu ma and MWR has the only food service facilities available within a reasonable commuting distance. Pursuant to FAR Part 12 and 13, this acquisition will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The North American Industry Classification Sy stems (NAICS) Code is 722110 with a size standard of $5.0 million dollars. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide this service, intere sted parties may submit technical literature showing their capability of meeting the Governments requirement by 28 December 2006, 12:00PM noon MST. E-mail your response demonstrating your firms experience and capabilities to Christina Mokrane at crystal.m endoza@yuma.army.mil. See note 22, with exception that the time period receipt of proposals for consideration is 8 days instead of 45 days.
