- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) intends to issue a sole source Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) task order to contract N00019-05-G-0001 to McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC), a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166-0516, for transition efforts to enable an efficient and orderly shutdown of the T-45 production line. Production Line Transition (PLT) efforts shall encompass analyses and cataloging of tooling required to build unique T-45 parts, identify parts needs for post production sustainment/support, create a logic tree and algorithm for use in eTIMS to determine which tooling maybe needed in support of post production requirements.
