- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. A more detailed solicitation is available on the Federal Techni cal Data Solutions (FEDTEDS) Web Page at http://www.fedteds.gov/ Solicitation Number W912HZ-07-T-0010 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) with the intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Ci rcular 2005-14 Correction. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE AND ISSUED UNDER NAICS CODE 238290 (SIC 1796) WITH A SIZE STANDARD OF $13.0 MILLION FOR A FIRM FIXED PRICE CONTRACT. This procurement may be quoted as follows: Supplies/Services : Provide all labor, materials and supplies necessary to remove the chain link across drive fence gate and install approximately 70 linear feet 7 tall Ameristar Gauntlet fence along with one 20 feet and one 13 feet sliding cantilever gate in accordance wi th specifications and drawings. Quantity: 1, Unit: Lump Sum, Unit Price: $?____________; Supplies/Services: Shipping. Quantity: 1, Unit: Lump Sum, Unit Price: $?____________; Total Amount: $ ____________. Award shall be made to the responsive and respons ible offeror whose quote is determined to be the lowest price. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) has a requirement for Ameristar Gauntlet Fence. The general scope or specifications of work shall include but is not limited to Access Control, Security Gates, Automation, CCTV, and Perimeter Fencing. The features to be implemented are identified below: Specifications: Upgrade and Replace Chain Link gate and Operators. Design works specify removing the chain lin k across drive fence gate and install approximately 70 linear feet 7 feet tall black Ameristar Gauntlet fence along with one 20 feet and one 13 feet sliding cantilever gate. 1. Two HI-Security 222SS hydraulic gate operators; 2. Ground and surge protection on operators; 3. Two operator mounts (using existing pads); 4. Aluminum drive rail; 5. Two traffic lights installed on metal poles (black in color); 6. Three loop detectors; 7. Saw out four new loops in pavement; 8. Two safety edge transmitters and receivers; 9. Two photo eyes for additional safety for UL-325 safe ty code; 10. Remove old gates and fence and remove from site; 11. Approximately 70 feet of 7 feet black Ameristar Gauntlet metal fence; 12. One 20 feet cantilever gate with Ameristar Gauntlet vertical pickets (black in color); 13. One 13 feet cantilever ga te with Ameristar Gauntlet vertical pickets (black in color); 14. Aluminum cantilever track system; 15. Four 10 inch truck rollers for the cantilever track; 16. Bottom guide rollers; 17. 4 inch square post to support gates; 18. Operator battery backup is not necessary, we are on generator back up/8000; 19. Gate operators have dry contacts for control devices like the existing operators.
