Description

1005-01-522-0762, Part Number 13001488. This requirement is a Total HUBZone Set-Aside. Only those qualified HUBZone small business concerns will be considered for award. The item being procured is a Retainer Gun Component (Latch) for M240H Machine Gun. The latch is a close tolerance machined part made from steel, 4340 or 4130 per ASTM A108, Heat treat to hardness RC 32-38 and phosphate finish applied. Requirements are for a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quality (IDIQ) contract with a guar anteed minimum quantity of 2,200 each. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 24 Jan 2007. The above listed response due date is only an estimate. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that will be posted with the solicitat ion once the solicitation is issued. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the i ssue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligati on and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendme nts and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
