Description
The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for the following equipment: 3120-01-189-1949, BEARING, STERN TUBE, Quantity 5 each. Bearing is used on the US Coast Guard WMEC 270 class cutters. Materials and dimensions shall be in accordance with this document and drawing # 905-WMEC-243-002 PC 11 Rev. E dtd 1/18/93. Flanged stern tube bearing, horizontally split. Material: Nitrile rubber insert, naval brass shell. Shaft size 12.125 inches. Length: 24.250 inches. Flange diameter: 26 inches. Flange thickness .75 inches. Body inside diameter: 13.625 inches. Body outside diameter (at root of lands): 21.250 + .030 - .000. A Quality Assurance inspection is required at plant. All items will be individually packaged in a wooden box (Ref. attachment 2) and bar-coded as prescribe in referenced spec. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Baltimore MD. Delivery on or before 02/01/07. If not previously qualified, interested contractors shall submit a drawing to the Coast Guard Contracting Officer for technical review and approval. All responsive sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by this agency. Note: Request for Quotation No. HSCG40-07-Q-6MG095 will be available as an attachment in FedBizOps no later 12/18/06.
