- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award, to a responsible quoter for the provision of Medical Assistant(s) services for the Federal Correctional Complex, 2225 Haley Barbour Parkway, Yazoo City, MS 39194. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and four one-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. The successful contractor(s) shall provide Medical Assistant services consistent with community standards. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 621399, with a small business size standard of $6.5 million. Services will be performed on individuals who are in the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment. Yearly contract requirements include an estimated 1440 one hour sessions per assistant. The solicitation will be made available on or about December 19, 2006, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov.
