PLEASE RESPOND NLT 15 DECEMBER 2006. ANY INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL BE FOR GOVERNMENT USE ONLY. Company Name, Cage Code, Business Size under company Primary NAICS code, Company Point of Contact, Telephone number, and e-mail address. Commerciality: Federal Acquisition Regulations require Federal agencies to conduct market research to determine if commercial items (including services) are available to meet the agencys requirements. The Federal Governments preference for the acquisition of commercial items is found in Title VIII of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994 by establishing acquisition policies more closely resembling those of commercial marketplace and encouraging the acquisition of commercial items and components. http://www.acquisition.gov/far/ See Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 2 commercial service definitions (see URL link provided) Do you think the acquisition of services in the areas of military personnel actions processing; records processing and management; personnel manning; casualty management; transition and separations processing; personnel information systems management; and mobilization support operations is commercial? These services are to be provided to military installation soldiers, retirees, veterans, military family members, and personnel affiliated with the military installation. a.
