- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to award on a Sole Source basis a Firm Fixed purchase order for the procurement of the See Spot III Laser Spot and Thermal Imaging Camera to FLIR Systems, Inc; 25 Esquire Road, North Billerica, MA 01862-2501. The required proprietary thermal imager is available only from FLIR Systems, Inc and there are no authorized resellers available. The FLIR System?s See Spot III is the only imager available and suitable to perform the evaluation of the Laser Target Designator, Laser Spot Imager camera. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 334511 with a 750 employee size standard. The order shall be a firm fixed price contract utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database.
