- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is F3Z0426286A100; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-13 and Defense DCN 20061109. This acquisition will be a 100% small business set-aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339932. The business size standard is 500 Employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 6910. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 5092. This request for quotation consists of the following items or equal: Item 0001: Qty, 1 EA, C-17 Indoor fiberglass constructed model airplane with belly mount, 70 inch wingspan, accurate detail painting of Air Force C-17. Item 0002: Qty, 1 EA, C-17 Indoor fiberglass constructed model airplane with belly mount, 108 inch wingspan, accurate detail painting of Air Force C-17. Additional product requirement characteristics: Winglets at the end of the each wing. Engines that rest on pods extending forward from the leading edge of the wing. Right gear pod should be roughly 25 percent larger than left gear pod to accommodate where the APU would be. Strakes on each engine approx 2/3 up. Flap actuator pods underneath each wing, 4 on each side. Specifics of the paint shall include: Proper tail flash included in pictures (to include Golden Bear, Travis name and symbology, AMC, and US flag with proper orientation on both sides.) The shield, blue with stars, of the Flag shall be facing forward on each side of the model. It should look ?backwards? on the right side. Proper name above entrance door with appropriate style, photo. AMC and AFRC patches on the right of the door. SKE lighting (green horizontal lights under U.S. AIR FORCE at fore of jet, at aft of fuselage and on tail). Proper position and number of windows. Air Refueling targeting scheme on top of fuselage overhead the cockpit. USAF lettering on right wing top, AF star on left wing top. AF star on each side of jet. 6154 underneath the lowest windows on the front of the nose. 60th AMW underneath 6154. 349th AMW underneath 60th AMW.
