- Description
- The Government intends to solicit for award a firm fixed price purchase order for LOCAL ALPHA NUMERIC PAGERS with limited statewide messaging capability and NATION WIDE ALPHA NUMERIC PAGER with 800/888 calling service capability, nationwide text messaging, text messaging access and voice messaging capability as required by Commander Navy Region Mid Lant Command, Norfolk Naval Base, Norfolk, VA. This requirement will be solicited using unrestricted procedures. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) is J058. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 517212. The solicitation will be posted on or about November 15, 2006, and close on or about November 24, 2006. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil or http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a offer, the contractor will be self certifying that neither the requestor nor the principle corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to so represent may be grounds for refusing to accept the quote. By submission of a quote, the offeror acknowledges that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance of the order and through final payment of the purchase order. Failure to register in the CCR may make an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. There is no commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract as a result of this notice.
