- REQUIREMENT: The United States Government seeks to lease 10,178 Rentable Square Feet, yielding 8,850 ANSI/BOMA Square Feet of office and related use space. Space must be located in a prime commercial office district with attractive, prestigious surroundings with a prevalence of modern design and/or tasteful rehabilitation in modern use. Subleases are not acceptable. DELINEATED AREA: The space will be located within the city limits of Sarasota, Florida. REQUIRED: Space must not be located in immediate vicinity of environmental threats, such as fuel storage areas, gas stations or chemical manufacturing facilities, etc. For proposals of space in existing buildings, a 30 foot standoff distance shall be provided from the curb line, or nearest point accessible by a vehicle, to the fa?ade of the building. Twenty seven (27) on-site, outside reserved parking spaces are required. All services, supplies, utilities and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. LEASE TERM: Term is for 10 years, 5 year firm, with the Government having cancellation privileges after the fifth year. Proposed occupancy date is May 15, 2008.
