- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue solicitation N00024-07-R-4004 on a sole source basis to Northrop Grumman Newport News (NGNN), Inc. located at 4101 Washington Avenue in Newport News, VA for execution planning and accomplishment of Planned Incremental Availabilities (PIAs) of CVN 68 Class Aircraft Carriers homeported in and visiting San Diego, CA. This effort will include, in addition to the PIAs continuous maintenance/emergent maintenance requirements. NGNN is the only company with requisite knowledge and expertise to perform the required integration work on nuclear-powered aircraft carriers (CVNs).
