Description

DESC: NSN: 1015-01-249-7272, Part Number: 9338675, the item to procure is a Gear and Pinion Match Assembly, Material: steel alloy 9310. Heat Treat and magnetic particle inspection. Consists of output pinion; 1228364 and output gear; 12283648. This as sembly has both internal and external involute spline gears. Requirements are 50 each, Gear and Pinion Match Assembly. FOB is Destination. Used on the M1A1 Abrams Tank. Estimated issue date is 30 Nov 2006. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. The proposed contract will be a three (3) year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed Price contract. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside.
